Winter Training

Attention Players and Parents: AMFC Elite will be holding a Winter open-house/try-outs on Tuesday November 3rd and Thursday November 5th.

Players that played in with club in the fall, players that played with the club in the spring and all new players are encouraged to attend these sessions to aid in the formation of winter teams for play in the Great Lakes Futsal based leagues in the Akron area and 7v7 or 6v6 leagues for our HS players.

Please feel free to pass this information on to any players that you feel might be interested.

A practice only option is also available to players that want to stay sharp while participating in another activity.

Winter training only $100 for each 8 week session (2 sessions per week) Rec players will given a discount code to offset the cost of the training and reduce the fee to $75.

Winter training and games for all players coming from the rec program $150 for each 8 week session Futsal based training

Location: St. Paul's Catholic Church 1580 Brown Street, Akron, OH. 44301. (The gymnasium is behind the church/school on Greenlawn)
When: Tuesday November 3rd and Thursday November 5th
Open House days will follow the same schedule
5pm to 6pm U8 to U11 boys and girls
6pm to 7pm U13 and U14/15 boys and girls
7pm to 8pm High School girls
8pm to 9pm High school boys

After the open house, Winter practice times will be determined by the number of players that are registered to participate in a given age group. The objective is to keep the practices sessions at the same time as the open house sessions but this is subject to change. All participants coming to the open house will need to register in the AMFC Elite system to ensure that we have contact information if it is needed. Use the registration labeled as 'AMFC Club evaluation Winter 2020-2021" Answer the questions and then you will be registered for the open house.

There is no fee involved for the open house!
