The AMFC IN-HOUSE (Recreational) program serves as an introduction to the game of soccer. Players from 4-8 years of age make up the teams within Our IN-HOUSE league. Player development needs may require an older player to remain with the IN-HOUSE program slightly longer.

The overall intent is to keep teams as equal as possible while delivering INDIVIDUAL player development. AMFC will place a player in the best fit for their personal needs. AMFC prides itself on a training style firmly based in teaching the FUNdamentals of the game of soccer.

What are the costs? Registration is $50 for 4-8 yr. olds. An AMFC jersey and player insurance are included in registration fees. 

When are the season/how many games? Fall season begins in September, Spring begins in April. The season is 6 games long.

How are teams formed?  Teams are formed by a random roster generation using our registration software.

What nights will my child have practices and games? Practices and games are scheduled by Our Director of IN-HOUSE. Training and Games are normally on Saturday mornings. They are played at the Akron Metro FC Complex, proud HOME of all AMFC teams from IN-HOUSE through HIGH SCHOOL.

Who are the Coaches/How can I volunteer to Coach? Quite simply, the AMFC Coaches ARE YOU!  All you have to do is inform Our Director of IN-HOUSE, or any Board member, that you would like to coach. AMFC uses Volunteer Parent-Coaches within Our IN-HOUSE program. The Club will assist you with the mandatory steps, such as concussion training & Our KIDSAFE background check. The Club also offers a continuous Coaching Education path set forth by US Youth Soccer and the Positive Coaching Alliance. AMFC will also make Our Elite and Travel Coaches available to assist with training ideas, answer questions, or whatever is needed.
