walk-a-thon created another addition to our fundraising efforts.
Weather:
The day was a cold one at 9am…..34
degrees, but that did not stop two of our participants from wearing shorts
during the event.
Participants:
14 players…..13 from AMFC Elite
and 1 from AMFC Competitive tier (AKA rec)
Money raised:

To be used for the following

game and practice shirts for our players
Additional
futsal goals and another soccer tennis net (skill development and field
partition)
Scholarship
assistance.

The club has agreed to give a 2nd
place award of $25 to Owen Eder in this category to recognize his admirable
efforts to help the club in this fundraising campaign.
For the families that came out and
walked a lap in recognition of the efforts of the boys we thank you. Special thanks
in this category goes out to Brian Hannah who walked with his son Paul Hannah to
complete the laps for his son Kevin. Kevin was sick that morning and could not
participate.
Also wish to add that Paul and
Brian Hannah came to walk a lap at 9am and then went to Goodyear Hall for Paul’s
10am futsal game and then returned to the walk to complete their laps.
AMFC is a club built on the
foundation created by the commitment and participation of our families and friends.
We thank all the contributors to our event that help to make this club
accessible to all families.
